NYTimes calls for a “National Citizen Science Initiative”.

Score one for citizen scientists! This beautifully written NYTimes piece explains the benefits of decentralizing (some) science by enlisting the talents of citizen scientists (us). The author calls on Obama to create a National Citizen Science Initiative.
