I enjoyed reading the article in the current issue of C&amp;EN about your efforts to promote science and technology.  I also looked at your website, which was very impressive as well. 
  
Do you think you could find someone to be a &quot;technology cheerleader&quot;?  I can think of many technologies that would benefit society but that are not being implemented for various reasons.  Probably the most important reason is that few people know about them.  I&#039;m sure you realize that many engineers are notoriously bad at selling their ideas.

This is a wind energy technology that is far superior to the conventional &quot;propeller on a stick&quot; wind turbine design in almost every way, but it is not being implemented.  I think in this case a little publicity would help a lot.
