TIME Magazine: Vote for Best Invention of 2009

TIME Magazine chose NASA’s Ares Rockets as the #1 Invention of 2009. The author of the TIME piece, Jeffrey Kluger*, also wrote Lost Moon (a book-turned-film, titled “Apollo 13”, starring Tom Hanks playing the role of famed astronaut James Lovell). Someday, I’ll have to tell you about my dinner with the humble and very kind Lovell when he talked being approached by Howard Stern’s Stuttering John.  Can you say “awkwardly amusing”?

Where was I? Oh, yes, you have until November 19th to vote for your favorite invention. As of today, the Electronic Eye, is ranked #1 in the TIME poll.

*Kluger and I worked together at Discover and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting with him a few times since.
