Big (school) Cheer for Science!


This is a video of students at Scott Elementary School in Atlanta, Georgia rocking the earth during Science Cheerleader’s Big Cheer for Science!
Thanks to Marlene Reynolds of KITES: Kids Interested in Technology, Engineering, and Science, for organizing the event and sharing the video!
Science Cheerleader, in partnership with the USA Science and Engineering Festival, SciStarter, Discover Magazine, and the U.S. Geological Survey, helped schools across the country do a one-minute cheer for science then measure seismic activity! All those schools are now part of the USGS’s citizen science project to monitor earthquakes!
