Science Cheerleaders to appear at National Math Festival
Hi, science (and math) fans!
MaryCarolyn, a Science Cheerleader and statistician, was interviewed by the Great Day show on Tuesday by WUSA in Washington, DC, to talk about the National Math Festival.
She also spoke to WJLA and NewChannel 8 and we’ll post that clip shortly.
Meet Mary Carolyn and other Science Cheerleaders on April 22 at the National Math Festival in Washington, D.C.
Science Cheerleader Lauren is helping with pre-event publicity while four others will be at the Festival itself. Her interview can be found here.
Janel will giving a talk on the “math you can find all around you” at 1 p.m.
After that talk, if you’d liked to participate in a science-themed cheer clinic, you will be able to meet Janel and Mary Carolyn between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. or Margaret and Rachel between 5 and 7 p.m.
April 22 is a busy day for the Science Cheerleaders. They’ll also be making appearances in Boston, Philadelphia, and D.C. at Science Marches.
